The Moment Our Viewpoint Changed

Emily and Dave over at Space And Things very kindly asked me to join their podcast to talk about Apollo 8 astronaut Bill Anders, who recently passed away. Bill was instrumental in my earliest book authoring, and a valued supporter of everything I did subsequently. It was good to talk about who he was. And important too to talk about what he did. Without meaning to — it was not the objective of that first human mission to the moon — Bill took a photo that forever changed how we think about our planet. Having journeyed as far away from our world as anyone had ever done, humanity discovered it anew.
