Media work on in-depth space stories for the Discovery Channel, History Channel, The Military Channel, from in-depth documentaries to news television and radio. International radio shows such as the BBC World Service, and NPR’s All Things Considered. Undertook detailed work with NPR in preparing space stories. Undertook live reporting for radio from the 2017 total solar eclipse. In 2011, provided live space coverage for Al-Jazeera English: reaching 130 million homes, at the time it was the biggest global television audience.

Museum spokesperson for space and astronomy stories, appearing on all local and many national television news shows, radio shows, podcasts, and newspaper interviews. Provided background to journalists and reporters for their own stories, such as for the Smithsonian Channel, A&E Network, and Travel Channel.
2005- 2012 Sally Ride Science
Represented Sally Ride Science for live and taped media about events (television, radio, printed press and internet), particularly at events around the country for local and national TV and press.
2001-2005 Fleet Science Center
Represented the science center as the Fleet’s Spaceflight and Astronomy Spokesperson. This included the creation of printed and website information for all major spaceflight and astronomy news events, plus live and taped TV interviews with all local and many national TV news stations on the latest space stories. It also included briefing astronauts to comment on space news stories at the science center.
