Mission Accomplished

When Apollo 15 astronaut and moon voyager Al Worden passed away, he and I had finished two books. One for children, and also this one. “The Light Of Earth” explores what it is like to be an astronaut, more than what he did as an astronaut — a subtle yet distinctive difference.
It is bittersweet to finally see it. I’m sad that Al is not here to share the excitement. But happy that his words will live on. There are new stories that no one else has heard yet.
