Exploring Space From Home
/It’s been cathartic at this odd time to continue so many different writing projects. Thank goodness for the power of science and engineering: it is allowing us to create and share so much from home.
Here are some of the other projects I’ve been doing:
I filmed a video talking about what the wonderful folks at Novaspace (the people who put on Spacefest) can offer you when you are staying at home. You may have heard, they have had to postpone their space conference until next year, and need the support more than ever in this weirdest of times.
I was on a great video panel with fellow authors from the University of Nebraska Press’s “Outward Odyssey” space book series, sharing space stories.
I was interviewed by Matthew Goriachkovsky for this engaging podcast about the very first crewed Apollo space flight, and the three characterful (occasionally controversial) crew members, set against the rapidly changing social climate of the late 1960s.
And, as you can see in the photo above, a feature article I wrote about America’s gay astronauts was published in the National Space Society’s “Ad Astra” magazine (digital copies available also online).
Stay safe and take care, everyone.
