Talking About Books At A Time of Isolation

Bestselling historical novelist Stephanie Storey was all set for a huge book launch of her latest novel, perfectly timed for the 500th anniversary of the passing of her book’s subject, the Renaissance painter Raphael. And then — the coronavirus hit. Her book signings around the country were canceled. She did her book launch event via Facebook.

Undeterred, she took it upon herself to reach out to many authors in the same situation, for lively interviews via YouTube. I was honored to be one of her choices, and our interview can be watched here. We talk about how isolation on a spacecraft is like isolation at home, what it is like to journey to the moon, the intersection of science and arts, and a whole lot more. I hope you enjoy our chat.
