Comets, Conferences, and Compliments... Oh My.
/
I hope you are enjoying this magical week where there is a comet in the sky every night. Looking at the ethereal threads of its tail stretching across the sky is magical… especially when the International Space Station flies past in the same view.
The Spacefest annual space conference understandably had to be postponed this year. It’s more than just a place to share groundbreaking news from dynamic speakers (although it is that too), it’s a gathering of global friends. But the same technology that boosts space exploration can also be used to get us all together for a great chat about space. I encourage you to click here and enjoy this talk a bunch of us space authors had about – everything. I miss seeing them all in person. The biggest downside was there was not enough time to talk about all the fantastic books they have written. They really are a remarkable bunch (and watch out for a drop-in by one of my favorite astronauts).
Lastly, the quotation above made my month. Mike Griffin was not known for mincing his words when he was NASA Administrator. So this praise for my work from him is doubly appreciated and rewarding.
Stay safe.
